September 30, 2025 /

Jeffrey Yusof has received the Best Paper Award at this year’s Tübingen-Hohenheim-Economics (THE) Workshop, jointly organized by the University of Tübingen and the University of Hohenheim. He was recognized for his job market paper “Market Luck: Skill-Biased Inequality and Redistributive Preferences,” co-authored with Simona Sartor. The paper finds that individuals are more accepting of inequalities arising from market forces beyond individual control, offering new insights into how perceptions of fairness shape support for redistribution.
